Fake IDs
Everybody knows that one friend back in high school or college that bought a fake id to be able to get into a club or bar. However, what they don’t know is that the person who sold you the fake id was charged with a felony for altering an official state personal identification card.
In the world of fake ids, there are different players who all could be facing criminal charges brought up against them. Player 1, the individual who reproduced, altered, counterfeited, forged, or duplicated the official state personal identification card. If Player 1 had the intention to use the reproduced, altered, counterfeited, forged, or duplicated official state personal identification card to commit an offense that is a felony punishable by imprisonment for 10 or more years, then Player 1 is guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 10 years or a fine of not more than $20,000, or both.
Player 2, the individual who sells the reproduced, altered, counterfeited, forged, or duplicated state personal identification card. If Player 2 had the intention to sell or deliver the reproduced, altered, counterfeited, forged, or duplicated official state personal identification card to another is guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 5 years or fine of not more than $10,000, or both.
Player 3, the individual who is in possession of a reproduced, altered, counterfeited, forged, or duplicated state personal identification card. If Player 3 is in possession of a reproduced, altered, counterfeited, forged, or duplicated state personal identification card is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 1 year or a fine of not more than $2,000, or both.
